To make a long story short i got caught racing a supra and another Z on the way to get some drinks. The supra and I saw the cop on the other side of the rd and tried to get away...Supra ended up wrecking and I got caught hiding at a water treatment plant. The other Z, whos driver was the smart one, stopped and helped the supra, and didn't get a ticket at all. The supra guy and I got "aiding and abetting racing" We went to court at differant times, and for trial the supra guy got off cause the cop never showed, and all i had to do was take a driver retraining class. no suspension for racing. The cops could have screwed us to for trying to get away but givin the circumstances were very cool. Dumb? yes. And in case your wondering I left the guys names out just in case they didn't want the story relayed e ven though it was kinda posted on tt.net a long time ago. As far as Advice goes. Don't get a lawyer imo it won't help at all and just waste money. As soon as the judge hears that you were racing he's already going to have made his decision and hardly any lawyer will be able to sway that. Go, plead guilty, and hope you get a cool judge.
